Fusion 07:39
FUSION There is no way of knowing, no way to compare It won't be so easy but you will be there Maybe you can feel some kind of shame? I’d be there to hear your borning cry When you smile i loose my pain, you can feel the same There is no salvation that you can't control For each good vibration, meet a living soul Every place around the world, the world seemed the same; we can't hear the rhythm of the drums Everybody wants to look the other way when something wicked this way comes When it’s time to switch off the lights of your soul You don’t have to take care of, things you can’t control No matter what-the-bad-reason why we are engaged. Let yourself drop into the game No matter what happens, just look the other way. Because nothing will ever be the same Refrain Let's go fly away the sky, and pray (all night) That you can see ahead enough to know Let’s go back to the futur, and pray (all night) That you can see ahead enough to know

Vision 05:20
VISION Last night I have a dream Something came into my room through a light Nowhere to go, nowhere to hide It brought me out and made me fly Floating in the air through the clouds Something new appeared to my eyes A new vision of the world Coming from the stars Trust me follow me I’m bringing the light Please let me guide you Just open your mind I‘ve got a message for you I’ve got the truth you’re looking for Forget your prayers your incantations I will guide you to a new shore Trust me follow me I’m bringing the light Please let me guide you Just open your mind

AFTER WICHITA It's a story of a magic sound, a timeless work which continues to reach ever higher The entire works comes off as a sort of, of interior travelogue, travelogue Is melodically sophisticated but very light like a breath, like a breath When the groove goes deep and wide, like a fever, is Metheny's magical sound world It’s a real awakening of the senses, you feel a sense of grandeur, of grandeur Is like feeling a different shade of leather, a musical bright colour, bright colour He can built our own rainbow of impressions, even with and in silence, in silence When the groove goes deep and wide, like a fever, is Metheny's magical sound world

NOTHING TO SAY Curtains are closed today I wanna write a new song Even my phone’s away It’s gonna take me all day long The sound of music’s in my mind I start playing it on my guitar A verse a chorus even the rimes But no idea no word so far Only one word to fill the page One thing to say Nothing important anyway Waiting for inspiration In private with my red wine I hope some muse will help me Will help me before I am drunk Only one word to fill the page One thing to say Nothing important anyway

PRETTY PRINCESS When you saw for the first time the light of life I sang for you throughout the world to show my delight, honey On your face we could be feel your loveliness Through your eyes i see right now your amazing grace, honey Regardless of your choice or fears, i'd listen to your voice Welcome to your life, Romane, you'll see and reach the light Whatever the future brings, i would be always proud of you And one day, you will become a pretty princess as you wish Whatever your struggle or pains, your weapon is your voice Welcome to your life, Romane, you'll see and reach the light
6.
THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE You see the light, It’s not so wide The only thing is to decide Get on the train or stay outside It’s the start of your life You see the light, it’s time to grow To go outside and start the show Either you see, either you act That’s the choice of your life You see the light, you find a way For every stride, you shouldn't play But if you try, you have to say That's the chance of your life It's seems to be a dream but you don't know It’s time to know the rules of the game You play with it, it’s not the same You think of love but it’s too late Don’t be sad of your life You see the light, the other side You feel the end, but you don’t cry You see the light, it’s very bright It’s the end of your life

Morning Song 06:53
MORNING SONG Woke up again in a place that i don't know Feel like a stranger, don't know where to go Try to stand up on my feet and walk out away Don't really know why but i feel i shouldn't stay Voices in my head tell me not to go Maybe i should sleep a few hours more An empty glass of wine hanging from my hand Two hundred horses passing through my brain There is no way to hold my hand that doesn't hurt Must be sleeping the night's not over Voices in my head tell me not to go Maybe i should sleep a few hours more

Four Inches 13:49
FOUR INCHES One touch, one like is just what makes you feel alive These moments when your face keeps shining like a smile You can type quickly on your phone Speaking with friends you'll never know You share with people that you'll never ever meet Images of your life of your intimacy Grab onto it before it's gone The words you say are not your own Feeding the river that passes by to the sea The current drags you through a world that is not real Seen by your four inches window That always tells you where to go Hypnotised and retained in this virtual world Don't forget your real friends it is them you can hurt All choices you think you can make Are dicted by someone else's sake Before you got it I was your best friend The one you used to talk to when you were sad I don't know what to do anymore To make you focus on something else To make you leave this unconsistant world When things are turning wrong don't be afraid Forget your screens, your phones don't hesitate You'll see the world around by yourself Without the filter of someone else This way you'll see the true, the real colours

about

Biography
The project was born from the meeting of David and Dominique, singer guitarists, in early 2014.

The common influences and the desire to create a setlist of original compositions oriented towards progressive rock are at the origin of the creation of the band.

After several months in the home studio, and a first finalized model of 8 pieces, a first formation was born in January 2015. Initially called Lingus, the band began multiple concerts in Brittany and elsewhere.

The line up then finds its balance with the arrival of Maxence on bass at the end of 2018, then Gabrielle on drums in 2019. This is the birth of Pryzme, a name more in line with the sound universe and the music offered; name which is also a nod to the cover of Dark Side Of The Moon.

Newly renamed, the band then began a new series of concerts and worked on a first self-produced album which was released in September 2021 under the name 'Four inches'. Album of 8 titles which comes to concretize and materialize the work of compositions and arrangement which has gradually matured over the years.

Recently, Lucas Planque on drums and Benoit Toquet on bass replaced the bass drum section. Young drummer, and fan of Gavin Harrison, Lucas comes to bring a different rhythmic aesthetic, more technical and turned towards prog rock (to follow on youtube - @LucasPlanque). Benoit comes from progressive metal both as a guitarist and bassist

(Lux Aeterna, Alternine, Devoid). His studio and stage experience brings new energy (Youtube - @benoittoquet8712). Pryzme's music can be described as airy and accessible progressive rock.

The multiple influences range from Pink Floyd to Yes, from Sting to Steven Wilson, from Pat Metheny to Toto

and many others... On stage, Pryzme is a journey that takes the audience to lands where rock, prog, jazz, and sometimes even metal meet. These are drums, bass, two guitars, samples and four voices at the service of catchy melodies and subtle arrangements. A nuanced music, a controlled sound, assumed influences, original compositions in a very polished style, which wants to be accessible to all audiences, informed or not.

Four Inches
Four inches is a self-produced album that represents the culmination of several years of work.

It is a starting point that now allows Pryzme to exist in the world of prog rock.
The 8 titles of the album are a mixture of many influences which make music accessible both to lovers of the genre but also to new ears who did not necessarily know this style of music. It's a very open album.

The recording was made under special conditions. The members of the band had to go all together in the studio but the session was stopped dead because of the confinement. The recording took longer than expected. Apart from Pretty Princess which could be recorded live, the sessions were very cut out. The mix was also delayed for the same reasons. This is also an opportunity to thank once again the work done by Clément Champigny and Jérome Acquiers from studio 123, who did a remarkable job in terms of mixing given the complexity of the arrangements and the
